Thursday night we had exchanges!!! Sister Cox (one of the sister training leaders(STL)) came to me in Centerville and Sister Anderson went to Covington to stay with Sister Tracy. Our mission is just now starting overnight exchanges again. This is when the STLs split up and spend the night and day with other sisters in the Zone to see how every thing is going. Sister Cox is super cool and we had the opportunity to help a member in her garden! Let me tell y'all, Georgia humidity is no joke! Once we were done I felt like I just got done running a marathon! (which no I haven't ran;))
This week we had the opportunity to do lots of service and participate in teaching English classes! Our Bishop in the Spanish ward is moving houses and we have been helping them pack and take trips to their new house. We went over on two different days to help and we spent a lot of time there! Our English classes are every Saturday and they are usually packed full with students. People can come in person or we do a zoom! Typically the Bishop's wife teaches the English classes, but due to her moving boxes, Hermana Anderson and I got to teach!! I love teaching English because every time I learn more Spanish. In Georgia there is a wide variety of Spanish speakers so it has been interesting to hear different types of Spanish dialect!
One thing that I have learned from serving a mission s how important the little things are that we do in life! It is such a big blessing we have to be able to pray! So many people don't know how or understand that it is a way we have to talk to Heavenly Father. As a missionary, you pray before everything you do and I have felt an immense amount of love from Heavenly Father when I do. I know that prayer is such a powerful tool we have! I encourage you all to pray daily and I know that if you will, you will be blessed with His spirit! I love you all so much and hope you know how important each of you are! Have a great week!
ALSO HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! I am so grateful for the ability I have to live in a free land and for all of the Men and Women who gave their life for me! I hope you all celebrate and give thanks to our veterans!!
Love Hermana Worley
